About Evan
Evan grew up in Fall River, Massachusetts and is a current resident of Westport. He attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science. Through his time working on campaigns at the state and local level, Evan gained valuable experience hearing from people throughout the Commonwealth. He was a research assistant at the Public Policy Center, where he worked to inform evidence-based policymaking in the South Coast and other regions in MA.
Evan was elected to the Westport School Committee in 2023, where he currently serves as Chair. He also serves on the Town’s Long Term Building Committee, Audit Committee, and School Building Committee. Evan was the Chairman of the Westport Republican Town Committee from 2021-2024. He was also a candidate for State Representative in the 8th Bristol District in 2020 and 2022, earning nearly 47 percent of the vote and posing the first Republican challenge to the seat since 1996. He is a research consultant conducting economic and regulatory analyses, funds tracking, and strategic assessments on a wide range of policy areas. With deep ties to the local community, Evan is committed to listening to and serving the residents of the district.
